The final task. The final chapter.
Fandemonium is destroyed, the Warriors of the Keyblade are defeated, Sora is broken and time is running out.
A goddess returns, a hero is born. For one year Anti-Sora has ruled Reality and all of Fandom in Darkness. For one year, the Fans have been forced into hiding. But a small thread of hope remains; amidst a forest of Darkness a path is found. And some things, once done, must be redone.
Four creatures of Darkness, three goddesses, two companions and one Master of the Keyblade.
On the first weekend of August, Fandemonium 2008, the final chapter of the keyblade trilogy unfolds and the fate of Sora and all of Fandom will be decided.
Will you be there?

We all had a great time in the city of Salt Lake. Other than having to pay for parking everywhere, it was nice. The Sheraton cleaned up well and had a lovely place for us to stay in; great place to hold a convention. The hot tub and swimming pool were great pleasures to relax in. The staff was friendly and helpful, as was the security watching out making sure things went alright.
Ichidan ran ’Whose Line Is It Anime?’, Beginners and Advanced Cosplay panels and a Grand Cosplay of Bleach at 10pm the last day. It was the first time we have performed that late at night. The con-goers seemed to enjoy the panels and the Bleach cosplay as well as having a great time with ‘Whose Line Is It Anime?’.
Artbeat was a nice band, other then needing a long time to set up. They performed very well and sounded great. People loved them and were happy to see them play once again the following day. Let’s hope they come again next year.
The cosplay contest had some great entries this year. Optimus Prime was among my favorites as well as the Chobits song and dance. The AMV contest was pretty interesting (happy to see no Linkin Park songs this time). Video rooms were up and going and playing some good stuff such as Outlaw Star and Lupin the 3rd (which we stopped to watch for a bit).
Orion and myself personally thank you all for playing along and being entertained by our camera and microphones as we asked you questions and taped through the convention center. You were all good sports about it. Video will be up soon.
The guests were great, from who we met. Steven Nunez (Warky), you’re a great guy with experience in playing music, keep it up, they sound great, and you were quite enjoyable to chat with.
Wrapping this short convention report up: We came, we saw, we had a blast. Thank you all for having us and we thank you for being there to spend time with. Hope to see you all again next year and many years to come.

Fandemonium was a blast!
Many, many thanks to Borneo for giving us such a generous amount of time to rehearse. Thanks to him and our wonderful cast and crew, our performance was a smashing success!

I’ve been amusing myself watching some of these videos.
Their site is called “eyeVio” and has only been active since this morning. It is already overflowing with videos.
I’m looking forward to getting seeing what comes of this.

These cosplayers, who met online, decided to get together Off Kai ( an offline meeting of online friends) in Akihabara, Tokyo, and spontaneously dance in the streets, without permission.
They did a flash dance interpretation of The Melancholy of Suzumiya Haruhi, and then quickly stopped and ran as the police arrived.

Command and Conquer 3 came out.
Yeah, I’ve been eating through that.
Cosplay Review to come.
Saw Final Fantasy I & II: Dawn of Souls at the store and got all nostalgic.
The sprites in part one have been updated, so Fighter (now Warrior) is no longer a red head. You get a 6 character name instead of 4 characters, like the old days. Not alot, but enough to do things like “Fghter” “RedMge” “BlkMge” “WhtMge”
Yeah, I’m original (8-bit Theatre 4ever!)
I actually never got around to getting the ROM with Fan Translation of Final Fantasy 2, so I’m playing through this game for the first time. The leveling system is a bit awkward to get used to. As your characters don’t have levels, you just level up your stats by using them. There are probably hundreds of explanations of this, so I won’t get into it.
I’m reluctant to do a Cosplay Review on these games, as they’re sprite based, so the costumes inevitably become based on the character art, which can be found with a simple google images search.
Ichidan’s Another Side DVD sold reasonably well at Anime Oasis.
More are being sent to Sakura-Con with a few of the members, so try and grab a copy while they’re there. It’s widescreen, with commentary and deleted scenes goodness.
An inferior (read: compressed) version of it is on my YouTube Channel.
I’m still working on the Anime Oasis DX review. I’ll post it when its finished.

Anime Oasis is over, and I’m still going through the videos and photos we took.
The pictures are going up here.
And video here (will be added gradually).
We had a great time, and the Bleach play was greatly received!
I’ll write up a full convention review later.
